I have spent my entire life in creative industries, living and breathing the arts.

My deep respect for the creative process inspired me to explore different ways of offering insights into it through unique and immersive activities. As a lifelong puzzler I have always enjoyed being able to dive deep into an artist’s mind by studying the intricate details and nuances of their work on little puzzle pieces. I consider it a privilege to be allowed to look at a work of art so closely in a world where touching art is discouraged.

The idea for Hauger Play is not new, over a decade old in fact, but the time is now right for it as we look for analogue alternatives to our screens, and for peaceful and mindful social, as well as solitary, activities.

I am beyond excited to launch Hauger Play to celebrate extraordinary image-makers from all over the world, with a strong focus on Asian contemporary artists. Hauger Play is the culmination of my life’s paths and careers – fine art, photography, interior architecture, retail, industrial design, branding and packaging – it is a joyful celebration of all of these industries.
